Michael Mueller wants to represent you and advocate for Franklin County as Judge-Executive on Fiscal Court. Why?
As magistrate for the last 3 years, I've seen the potential of Franklin County: how tax payer dollars can be better spent, how we need better jobs, and quality of life. I've worked and voted to improve these, but there is still more to do. As Judge-Executive I will be able to make a larger impact. I want our youth to want to come back to this community, to want to live here, and help it thrive. I want to highlight the great things about our county that make people want to live and work here. l have led a business and many organizations to success through collaboration, listening, and leadership and will do the same for our county.
As an effective leader I will create goals, accountability, and a sense of excitement. I have vision, know how to motivate and listen to employees and citizens for the common goal of getting things accomplished. I am committed, have a great work ethic, and have a thorough understanding of what, why and how.
I know through great leadership and committed citizens we can be a thriving community. I humbly ask for your vote for Michael Mueller, on Nov 8th, 2022."

I will bring energy, business experience and Fiscal Court knowledge to help create a thriving Franklin County.
What is the role of Judge-Executive? Elected on a four year term by Franklin County residents to help govern county government, including overseeing the day-to-day operations and work with its departments (Sheriff, Road, HR, Coroner, County Attorney, Parks, County Clerk, Fire Department, etc) and personnel. The Judge Executive has a vote as a member of the Fiscal Court. Fiscal Court helps set budgets for the county, allocate funds the $27 million dollar budget, approve projects and regulations for the county, and advocate for their constituents, businesses, and the county as a whole.
The CJE is the chief executive of the county and should help lead all the duties of Fiscal Court; they should relay information concerning the operations of the county departments and boards to the fiscal court; and keep the fiscal court fully advised as to the financial condition and needs of the county. The CJE is the leader who meets with all the departments and makes sure day to day needs are being taken care of and everyone is communicating for the greater good of the community.
